Police are investigating alleged embezzlement by the director of one assisted living facility. It has been alleged that the director took money from the facility for her personal use. A statement from the company says the director admitted embezzling money.
Investigators suspect that around $10,000.00 was taken from the home, but hope their investigation will clarify the exact amount. A spokesperson from the facility has said that the director was removed her from her position immediately after the allegations surfaced. The spokesperson also said that the embezzlement has not affected the care of the facility's residents. The home is current;y being operated by interim management. For more, read the story.
