Care Home Nurse Suspended For One Year For Medication Errors
A nursing home care nurse has been suspended for 12 months after failing to administer medication to two patients. The patients were supposed to receive eye drops and another prescribed tablets. The nurse however, documented that she completed the administrations as prescribed.
Due to falsification of records and a lack of remorse for her actions, suspension was enacted per a nursing committee that reviewed her actions. For more, read the story.
