Engineering Students Create Solutions For Nursing Home Patients
University students in an engineering program are taking their classroom skills to nursing homes to aid patients with real problems to solve. Under teacher supervision, students listened to patients make requests and identify issues that they can help rectify. The students were able to work on a barrier option for one of the patients that was flexible and easily stored.
