Failure To Investigate Nursing Home Allegations Exposed In Audit

Nursing home allegations in one state have the greatest lag time prior to inspection. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services states that 650 claims have gone without investigation. These claims represent 74 percent of the claims made with a requirement to investigate in a 10 day window.
