Family Of Nursing Home Loved One Protests Lack Of Care
The family of a loved one in a nursing home is protesting after their loved one fell twice and was not checked properly for injuries. The family checked to see if there would be a better fall prevention put in place. The nursing home was not satisfactorily responsive to the family.
The family took their concerns to the community after being told varied dead ends to establish more care for their loved one. The community responded with similar stories of poor quality care, as well as concerns about staffing, inadequate training and high turnover rates. For more, read the story.
