Health Commissioner Suspends Admission In Two Facilities For Health Violations
The health commissioner in one state has halted all admissions for two facilities. The facilities had violations of quality of care for their workers. Violations between the two facilities included problems with administration, performance improvement, records and reports, resident rights, admissions, discharges and transfers, performance improvement and social work services.
The violations must be corrected prior to the health commissioner removing the ban on admissions. The facility can appeal the ban or perform appropriate plans of correction to open doors to residents for admission again. For more, read the story.
