List of Nursing Home Facilities with "Poor Care" Standards Made Available to Public
Several nursing home facilities were recently exposed via several United States senators for having a consistent record of poor patient care. The facilities’ deficiencies were made public through a report made public. One state had six facilities named. Among the deficiencies included untimely medication administration, safety violations, and alleged sexual assault.
According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, federal funding to the facilities can cease if the deficiencies are not corrected in a prompt manner. For more, read the story.
