According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, two nursing homes were fined as a part of a quarterly report for violations. A group of nursing homes in one state were forced to close several months ago, and the owner is now accused of employee wage theft. According to the state’s attorney general, the facilities were constantly violating health standards and were preparing to voluntarily surrender the licenses.
