  • Nursing Home Facility Inspected Following Resident's Unexpected Death, Fined $8,000 for Deficiencies

    A 2015 case that was closed after an investigation for senior neglect returned cold is currently being re-reviewed by a prosecutor.  According to a report, the area’s local police requested the potential neglect case be reopened.  The incident involved a man at a nursing home facility who died from asphyxiation according to his death certificate; however, the son of the decedent alleges the facility told his family that his father died from natural causes.   Read More...

    Police arrested a nursing home employee recently following the allegations of patient abuse and neglect. According to a report, security cameras in the nursing home facility may have caught the alleged abuse on tape.   • Nursing Home Employee Charged, Alleged Victim Reported a Month-long Abuse

    A caregiver at a nursing home facility has been arrested on abuse and neglect related charges. The alleged victim is a patient at the facility and reported to the police that an employee was harming her.     Two former nursing home employees have been charged with neglect of a nursing home patient.
