Nursing Home Employee Pleads Guilty To Abuse Of Patient
A nursing home employee pleaded guilty to abuse of a patient. The nursing aide was charged with one count of abuse by a caretaker. She testified that she slammed the patient's wrist into a railing multiple times while lifting her from the floor.
The nursing aide will server 30 days in prison with an eight-year suspended sentence. She will also pay fines and court costs of more than $4,700. For more, read the story.
