Nursing Home Employees Plead Guilty To Neglect, Sentenced To Jail
Two former nursing home employees have been convicted in the death of a patient. The two employees were charged with forgery and neglect, and both pleaded guilty. The patient suffered from dementia and Alzheimer's.
The patient wandered outside and froze to death overnight. The employees failed to check on the patient while she was away and later falsely documented that they had checked. Both were sentenced to 60 days in jail. For more, read the story.
