Nursing Home Facility Cited For Immediate Jeopardy of Patients
A nursing home inspection left a nursing home out of compliance based on several citations from a state survey. Multiple citations were at a level of immediate jeopardy for the patients in the facility. Citations included failure to notify physicians and family members about major changes in physical/mental health of a patient.
Other citations included failure to protect patients from mistreatment and failure to provide the highest quality of life. The facility instituted a plan of correction and was reinstated after a follow up inspection. For more, read the story.
