Nursing Home Facility Shuts Down after Federal Funding Discontinued

A nursing home facility is preparing to shut down after it failed to correct serious health and safety concerns identified by the federal government. In this facility, that means evacuating eighty-six out of one hundred and nine patients.

Some of the complaints the nursing home faced included habitual severe weight loss among residents, hygiene concerns, and overall poor patient care. For more, read the story.
