Nursing Home Fails to Provide Sufficient Care to Patient Following Multiple Falls

A resident of Halifax, Tina Williams is angry at what she says was a lack of attention given to her mother at a local nursing home. Williams claims that the nursing home staff failed to give needed medical attention during her stay at the facility, and that the neglect felt like the worst feeling in the world. Ms. William's mother, Nancy Kelsie, was doing well around December 2019, but suffered from several falls following the holiday season. These falls, under the care of the Halifax nursing home, let to several injuries sustained on Kelsie's face, neck, and spine.

Tina William's mother was a resident at the Melville Lodge nursing home in Halifax. Patient records provided show that she fell twice on January 21, 2019. Despite her injuries, the Melville Lodge staff did not send the elderly resident to the emergency room, and records show her family wasn't notified about the second fall until the next day.
