Nursing Home Fined After Staff Member Sexual Abused Patients
A former chaplain at a nursing home was accused of sexually abusing two patients. The nursing home was fined $25,000 after failing to protect the patients from sexual abuse by the staff member and implement its police to remove the former employee from direct contact with patients.
The former chaplain was arrested and sentenced to 14 years after pleading guilty to two counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault of a Victim over 60.
