Nursing Home Lawsuit Involves Coumadin Overdose
A nursing home patient is suing a nursing home for medication errors. The nursing home provided 5 times the prescribed dose of Coumadin. Coumadin is a blood thinner. The excessive medication was administered for 6 days leading to the development of a hematoma.
The daily overdose led to injuries and medical bills associated with subsequent surgeries related to the hematoma. She is seeking a jury trial and damages related to her injuries. For more, read the story.
