Nursing Home License Revoked For Medication Errors
A nursing home facility no longer has a license due to 43 incidents involving medication errors. The health information and quality authority investigated and issued a report identifying its concerns. “The impact of such medication-related errors could potentially be catastrophic and therefore, a judgment of major non-compliance was made,” said the report.
The facility was also found to have unclean showers due to fecal matter and urine. The uncleanliness extended to the food service trays. The facility is now under new management. For more, read the story.
