Nursing Home May Close Due To Violations Causing Lack Of Funding
A nursing home barred from accepting new patients is now on the chopping block to close. After losing the privilege of admitting patients, the facility also lost Medicare funding. The facility may close doors due to lack of funding to run the nursing home.
Families are currently meeting with nursing home staff to identify other possibilities for their loved ones to receive care. The facility can still appeal the decision on funding, so the final verdict has not been made at this point. For more, read the story.
