Nursing Home Raided For Patient Information Due To Complaints
Five complaints and a revoked license have prompted a police raid of a nursing home led by the attorney general. Police searched for patient care documentation to reveal more facts into patient care. The facility allegedly allowed abuse and neglect to occur with its patients. The facility is operating on a revoked license while an appeal is in place to keep the facility open.
Family members of loved ones were questioned about their loved one's care regarding falls, medication, and other types of care. The facility's complaints included wounds to the tendon, malnutrition, and severely deficient wound care. For more, read the story.
