Nursing Home Worker Faces Trial For Sexual Abuse Charges
A nursing home worker accused of sexually abusing a resident will go to trial to face the charges against him. The worker has pleaded guilty to three felony charges. The charges include one count of criminal sexual act and two counts of endangering the welfare of an elderly or incompetent person.
The worker was investigated by police and made admissions of sexual misconduct after being questioned about a specific incident with a resident. The resident had concerns about interaction with the nursing home worker leading up to the incident while being bathed. The worker was fired and stripped of his license after the investigation.
