Nursing Homes In One State Receive Citations Involving Harm To Patients
A few nursing homes have recently been cited in one state for serious violations relating to patient care. One citation involved a patient who had a hypoglycemic incident sending her to the hospital because she had an incorrect does of insulin.
Another citation involved a patient who died due to a medication error with blood thinning medication. Seven other facilities involved citations of lesser harm. For more, read the story.
