Nursing Rehabilitation Facility Administrator Publicly Denies Sexual Assault Allegations
A nursing home rehabilitation facility that has been accused of housing a sexual assault has officially denied the allegation. According to a television news station, a possible patient-on-patient sexual assault may have occurred in May 2019. The report was received via anonymous tip.
The facility administrator responded in an interview. “The report of alleged rape at [the facility] yesterday by a local news station is false. This type of sensationalism has no positive effect on the residents, family or staff at our facility. As mandated by the New York State Department of Health, facility leadership has conducted a thorough investigation and found no evidence to support this allegation. The facility is working closely with the New York State Department of Health, who has already been onsite to review the allegation. The facility has also provided requested documentation for their review.” For more, read the story.
