Police are investigating the theft of oxycodone pills from a facility that provides assisting living for patients. According to a search warrant, staff noticed someone had tampered with a pack of medication in late March. Investigators believe someone working at the facility removed oxycodone pills from at least five packs and replaced the pills with allergy medicine. The packs were then tapes shut to appear unopened.

No one has been arrested or charged, but police say they do have one suspect. The assisted living facility said they have fired the nurse in question. They also stated that they are disturbed by this news and are working closely with the investigators. For more, read the story.
